Explore ShopRooted in the royal heritage of Jaipur, MAKKMAL redefines bespoke bedding through an uncompromising devotion to authentic craftsmanship and pure materiality. Every piece in our atelier is meticulously spun from 100% certified long-staple organic cotton, selected for its extraordinary tensile strength, whisper-soft drape, and remarkable longevity. Unlike commercial bedsheets treated with synthetic silicone coatings or blended with stifling microfibers, our artisanal textiles are woven in a crisp, matte percale structure that maximizes airflow and promotes natural nocturnal temperature regulation—making them exceptionally comfortable across India's diverse tropical climates.
Honoring centuries-old Rajasthani block printing traditions, our master artisans hand-carve seasoned Sheesham wood blocks to press eco-friendly, hypoallergenic botanical dyes onto the unbleached fabric. This delicate, human-led choreography creates subtle tonal variations, ensuring no two bedsheets are ever identical. Designed as heirloom investments rather than seasonal consumables, MAKKMAL bedding blossoms with every wash cycle, gaining a softer, more sumptuous tactile hand over decades of quiet rest. By pairing responsible fair-wage production with pure botanical ingredients, each linen is ethically crafted to grace your sanctuary with timeless warmth and quiet luxury.
Engineered with airy one-over, one-under weave porosity to ensure cool night comfort and superior airflow in warm climates.
Hand-stamped in Sanganer with carved Sheesham teak blocks using AZO-free botanical pigments that soften over years of use.
Clear answers regarding thread counts, cotton care, mattress dimensions, and shipping.
Rather than artificially inflating thread counts with heavy multi-ply synthetic yarn, MAKKMAL crafts single-ply 100% long-staple organic cotton in a balanced 300 to 400 true thread count percale weave. Percale features a classic one-under, one-over weave structure that leaves microscopic air pockets between threads, facilitating constant airflow. This allows body heat and night-time humidity to dissipate naturally, delivering a refreshing, sweat-free sleep experience suited to India's warm summers and tropical monsoon climates.
