We ship across India to all serviceable PIN codes (over 27,000+ destinations) in partnership with premier logistics couriers including Blue Dart, Delhivery, and Expressbees. Handcrafted pieces are dispatched directly from our Jaipur atelier.
International dispatch is currently coordinated on custom inquiry through our Concierge team at support@makkmal.com.

Shipping Charges & COD Terms
Complimentary express delivery applies across India on all orders above ₹999. For orders of ₹999 and below, a flat delivery fee of ₹79 is applied at checkout. For eligible Cash on Delivery (COD) shipments, an additional ₹49 handling fee applies to cover specialized courier cash-handling and doorstep verification.
COD Order Value Ceiling (₹2,000 Maximum Cap): Cash on Delivery is strictly permitted for orders with a final order total of ₹2,000 or less (including applicable delivery and handling fees). If an order exceeds ₹2,000—even in a COD-serviceable location—the patron must complete the purchase via prepaid payment methods (Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking). Our secure checkout automatically enforces this ceiling and disables COD when cart totals exceed ₹2,000.
COD Serviceability Notice: Cash on Delivery is not available pan-India and is restricted exclusively to specific pre-approved serviceable postal codes verified at checkout. For areas outside COD coverage or orders exceeding ₹2,000, prepaid express delivery (Cards, UPI, Net Banking) is fully supported.
No Hidden Surcharges: The price displayed at checkout is all-inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Aside from the clearly noted standard delivery or COD handling fee where applicable, we never charge packaging surcharges or payment gateway fees.

Delivery Timelines
Order Preparation: Because our textiles are handcrafted from natural fibers, every piece undergoes hand-inspection, steam-finishing, and archival folding at our Jaipur atelier within 24–48 hours (1–2 business days) of confirmation.
Transit Expectations: Standard delivery arrives within 3–7 business days across serviceable locations in India. Timelines are estimates and may vary during national holidays, festive peak seasons, or unexpected regional weather conditions.

In alignment with quiet luxury and environmental responsibility, MAKKMAL completely eliminates single-use plastic mailers.
Every textile creation is enveloped in a breathable, reusable pure organic cotton dust bag designed for long-term seasonal storage in your home linen closet. Shipments are packed inside sturdy, recycled luxury rigid presentation boxes lined with protective moisture-barrier kraft paper, safeguarding delicate handblock-printed cotton against transit dust and moisture.

Order Tracking & Notifications
Once your order has been packaged and handed over to our courier partner, you will receive an automated dispatch notification via Email containing your tracking ID and a direct tracking link.
You can also monitor live delivery checkpoints at any time by logging into your MAKKMAL Client Account under 'My Orders' or by contacting our concierge at support@makkmal.com.

Damaged in Transit
If your exterior presentation box arrives visibly compromised or damaged in transit, please take the following steps for immediate resolution:
- 01Refuse delivery if outer packaging is severely torn, crushed, or tampered with, OR
- 02If accepted, photograph or video the damaged outer box and shipping label immediately upon receipt.
- 03Contact our concierge at support@makkmal.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs.
- 04We will coordinate prioritized pickup and immediately dispatch a brand-new replacement or process a 100% refund at zero additional cost to you.

Multiple Shipments
If an order contains multiple artisanal pieces that require staggered finishing across different artisan looms, items may occasionally arrive in separate protective boxes. You will never be charged extra shipping fees for split dispatches.

Undeliverable Orders
Couriers attempt delivery up to three times. If a package cannot be delivered due to an incomplete address or patron unavailability, our concierge team will contact you to verify details and arrange re-delivery.
